Just before his show in Dubai, we sat down with the man himself, Iraqi/Canadian Artist "Narcy" and get to know the artist behind the amazing music, we dive into his beginnings , his passion for Hip-Hop, his latest album "SpaceTime" and whats next for him.

The show also featured Dj Lethal Skillz, Layla Kardan and Moh Flow. 

THE BEAT DXB PRESENTS: NARCY LIVE IN DUBAI !!

THE BEAT is a series of events curated by Saudi radio host and blogger Big Hass, all in the aim to support local and regional rising music artists by creating opportunities for them to perform live. What started as an underground event in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) in 2013 has now been marked by the DXB stamp, as Big Hass tries to nourish the independent music scene through private live events. 

In less than a year, two Dubai editions of THE BEAT have already been successfully accomplished, bringing a new flair to the local music scene. 

It is time to crank up the volume for a third edition and bring in a prominent talent from the indie international hip-hop scene, alongside some artists from Dubai, who will be opening for the main act. 

For The BEAT DXB vol iii lineup, Big Hass is inviting one of his heroes, Canadian-Iraqi artist Narcy to showcase exclusively his new album "Space Time" LIVE in Dubai. Multimedia and merging East and West are trademarks in Narcy’s way of presenting his art; in this performance, he will be giving his audience a visual and auditory glimpse on what “Space Time” means to him on personal, cultural and philosophical level. 

Joining him will be Lebanese Dj/Turntablist Dj Lethal Skillz, a music pioneer and the undisputed champion in the genre of Turntablism, fusing hip-hop and oriental Arabian streams. 

Opening acts will also include soulful voice and fashion enthusiast Layla Kardan, and Moh Flow, who is one of the first artists who supported The Beat from its humble beginnings in Saudi Arabia. 


The event will occur on Wednesday March 13, 2019

MOH FLOW RELEASES 'DEAD ONE' VIDEO // Produced by AY

Dubai Based Singer/Rapper Moh Flow just released a single entitled "Dead One". It feels to me that he's steady and working really smart to establish his name in the city of Dubai and internationally as well. HRMNY which is a collective between Majeed, AY & Moh Flow is doing great at the moment establishing mini-events in the city and also curating events for other establishments/hotels which really somehow builds an ecosystem in a way & keeps the music between the artists who are actually talented & doing work.

"READY UP" for Moh Flow's New Vibe

Dubai Based Artist Moh Flow releases his new joint "Ready Up" produced by AY. This duo have been making big international noise for the past couple of years now. 

I love this record. For me, shows a certain maturity for Moh. The 25 year old artist is for sure putting his stamp down as one of the leading artists from the Middle-East.

Question is: Is the music/art he is providing for the people of the Middle-East? I happen to think YES! He's tapping to a great young demographic which I think are proud of the fact that they can "ROCK ON" / "Vibe To" an artist from Arabia that sounds that DOPE!

I personally have no doubt that what HRMNY guys are doing will result in a big international exposure and one can tell that the first step was that Pusha T & Moh Flow feature for Spotify's Campaign "Im With The Banned"

DUBAI BASED RAPPER "MENON" RELEASES ALBUM "Epiphany Of A Misfit" | Produced by RAYAN

Menon launching his album "Epiphany Of A Misfit" - The Fridge (Dubai, UAE) 

April 23rd,2018 marked Menon's Birthday and on that day he released his album entitled "Epiphany Of A Misfit" - The album is produced by Dubai based producer "Rayan" who is definitley making a huge name for himself in the region. Menon for me is one of the best rappers in the city and hes someone who is working very hard to reach his goals.

The launch was held at "The Fridge" in Dubai & it was part of their "Concert Series Events". Dj Liutik opened up the night with an incredible set and rappers Moh Flow & Freek took the stage with each performing 3 of their hit songs.

Event was hosted by myself and I always love supporting these guys! 

Menon then took the stage with Rayan on the decks and electrified the crowd with his energy and passion. He even got his mom on stage!

Menon's album is well structured and has diversity of topics ranging between relationships, community and also a track about his father which is entitled "1952" and it features Iraqi Singer/Songwriter Shébani. The track is my favourite in the album.

Moh Flow joins Pusha T on a track about #MuslimBan

Music streaming service SPOTIFY launched a dope campaign entitled "I'm With The Banned" which simply teams up artists from countries that were impacted by the "Muslim Ban" with artists from the west in an attempt to show that music goes beyond borders. 

Very proud to see Moh Flow (Syrian) & Sufvyn (Sudanese)  in that campaign. Been supporting these guys for a long time now! This is incredible
