This documentary follows two MC’s, Yaseen (20) and TNT (19) of the Palestinian rap group I-Voice (Invincible Voice) from the Bourj al Barajneh Refugee Camp (BBC) in south Beirut, facing constant electricity cuts in their small camp recording studio.

The film follows them as they break out of the confines of refugee life, it is a story about their search for power.

He has been living & working in Lebanon since 2006 & has been documenting the rise of Arabic Hip Hop in Beirut city & the region.

Revolt had a great discussion/Interview with Jackson about his life in Lebanon, his thoughts on Arab hip hop & about his amazing documentary.

Make sure you hear this fella out - its truly amazing & I am really blessed that I am able to encounter amazing people on my REVOLT journey & Jackson is one of those people that is documenting a real movement & is doing it in great style

This is an interview that I personally was really waiting for ! to have the ability to be in the surroundings of people that actually speak true words & are actually doing something about their believes! True Music should be heard people!

It was just awesome meeting up with Lowkey,Shadia & Amal, they are all artists in every single way - I am happy I was there to document greatness.

I did interview Lowkey couple months back via phone - but watching him perform live & then having an amazing interview is just really too special for me.

REVOLT "FREE PALESTINE" FOOTAGE - PART 1

On March 5th I flew from Jeddah to Beirut to attend a "Free Palestine"Concert in which two of my biggest artists were performing "Lowkey" & "Shadia Mansour - I also had the pleasure of meeting "Amal Kawaash"-

I have already shared pictures from my 1 day trip - now i will release the video footage & interview.

The first interview released is for a Lebanese Rock/funk band called "Fareeq Al Atrash".

I actually bumped into Chyno (vocal/prodocer of the band) a night before the actual event & we agreed to meet up the next day for a small interview & we did !

AYZEE : SAUDI R&B IS ABOUT TO BLOW UP !

Rhythm and blues is a type of music made popular by African Americans in the post-World War II period. It has branched off to create other forms of pop music.

Nowadays, R&B has become a generic term to define music ranging anywhere from soul, funk, pop and contemporary R&B.Finding its source and highest point of success in the West, it has gradually drifted its influence on our side of the world, the Middle East.

Not necessarily being an R&B fan, I present to you, with outmost respect to his talent and caliber of voice, a fresh slowly rising artist known as Hamza Hawsawi aka AYZEE. As I visited his recording studio and witnessed him in live freestyle performance - exclusively for REVOLT – it has come to my attention that he could indeed become the next Ne-Yo, Chris Brown or any contemporary R&B artist of the Middle East.

All beats are produced by AY Production which is for my homeboy AYHAM who is the produces & manager of AYZEE. Interviews with both AY & AYZEE were conduced & will be posted soon on REVOLT...Ayzee's first album is about to drop mid of this summer. Support ma homeboy.
