RE-VOLT RADIO INTERVIEWS : DEEN a.k.a JIHAD


I had the pleasure of interviewing DEEN, a rapper straight from California who was born to Pakistani parents with an Afghan background.

"DEEN" meaning religion, way of life in Arabic focuses on reflecting the "true"image of his background, his life!

Its really interesting how he uses his name to make a point.

A big shout out to DJ Lethal Skillz for introducing me to his music. Truly talented fella and should be heard.

DEEN can be your street rapper, your commercial syringe or your conscious rapper.

His songs were played on a lot of Radio shows like BBC. He was also featured in "THE NATIONAL"(U.A.E.) Newspaper May '10.

RE-VOLT RADIO INTERVIEWS: AYMAN EL-SAYED / A True Soldier of "real" Hip Hop


Ladies & Gents, meet Ayman El-Sayed an independent journalist who has reported from Iraq, Palestine, Egypt, Cuba and the Former Yugoslavia. He is a member of Existence is Resistance, an organization that recently traveled to besieged Gaza and links progressive hip hop artist from the US with those in Palestine to raise awareness against the occupation.

Ayman was born in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in both New York and war-torn Lebanon shaped his outlook on the world. Over the past ten years he has been an anti-war activist and a supporter of freeing political prisoners such as Mumia Abu-Jamal. He has also organized against police brutality and cuts to CUNY.

Ayman's art is different than the artists I interviewed but its in the same direction, he uses his skills and passion to promote artists, show the real story & support in all ways possible. Ladies & Gents, meet MAZZI, hes an MC/Rapper that is part of a group called S.O.U.L( Sense Of Understanding Life ) Purpose.

Mazzi is originally Iranian but moved to the states & began performing at a really toung age. His passion on stage is real admirable. He has opened up for the likes of Erykah Badu,50 Cent, Eminem, Immortal Technique, Common, Talib Kweli & many more.

His talent must be heard & respected. The voice of this American/Iranian fella is rising.

RE-VOLT RADIO INTERVIEWS: FAREED NASSER a.k.a FREDWRECK !


Fareed Nasser a.k.a Fredwreck is a legendary Music Composer. He has produce sick beats for artists like Dr.Dre,Snoop,Cypress Hill, Everlast,Kurupt,50 Cent,Ice Cube, Xzibit & many many more!

Recently, he dropped down to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for a visit & I (Re-Volt Radio) had the pleasure of sitting down with him & conducting an interview that I am really proud of.
